About SvanO Design
The purpose and foundation behind the creation of svanodesign begins with the development of a series of self-published coloring books. This enables me to create a world of fantasy and relieve people of the stress they face in life. Leading university studies prove that coloring helps relieve stress and I want to lead in the charge of stress reduction. Creating creatures and habitats from other places, allows me to escape from every day stress. Exploring coloring therapy, I began a journey to create books that continues to inspire and help.
With a BFA in Sequential Art (storyboarding) from SCAD and some incredible freelance assignments under my belt, I took the Lead Creative Consultant position for Rabotat Records. I help establish visual cues for a number of independent artists under the Rabotat umbrella. Utilizing the story elements, I started creating concept album art, including some video specials. An annual festival of music and art, with relief efforts from the Covid times. Tutorials of work as an artist, working on projects with exclusive content. Good Times!
Collaboration is gratifying and humbling to me. Strength is in numbers and there is nothing more gratifying than working towards something with others. It allows me to pursue my passion, support the passions of others and cultivate an inventive creative process. It also brings individuals together, as a collective, testing the limitations of our own imaginations.
Currently, I’m establishing my brand in Pittsburgh, PA.. The Mount Washington Area is a fantastic place to vendor and create new projects. I’m collaborating with local artists and getting involved with the local scene. Look for my vending booth throughout the seasons in and around Pittsburgh. Coloring books, original illustrations, art prints, wood burning and scratchboards will be available. I specialize in monsters and aliens! As an independent artist, I can create images and visual communications that are impactful. Establishing an identity for myself and creating commissioned works for people is so gratifying for me. If you would like a commissioned art piece from me, please contact me via email and we can discuss your vision together. Let’s help each other bring something truly special for you or someone you care about. I would be honored to help make it a reality for you.
